Monday Night Football on Sky dips its toe into the Football League One tonight for the clash between Oldham and MK Dons. It promises to be an interesting game.
MK Dons are right in the thick of the promotion chase but they have had a very tough run of games of late and that probably accounts for a slight dip in form. Recent home draws with Huddersfield and Charlton followed their only road reversal of the campaign against Sheffield Wednesday. Last time out that were back to form with a convincing 3-0 victory over Notts County. The Dons have won four of their last six away league games.
Oldham under the inspirational boss Paul Dickov have been better on the road so far this campaign and only have one home win, against Rochdale, to celebrate. In fairness the two home defeats were against Sheffield United and Brentford and they have drawn with Huddersfield. However against this they have lost three of their last four in the league and are without a win, in the league, since August 20th.
5/4 MK Dons looks a fair price but three of the last four meetings at Boundary Park have been above the 2.5 goals threshold so the Evens available looks a bit of value.
Daily Sport recommended bet is 2-1 correct score at a very big 10/1 with Ladbrokes also looks on the over priced side.
