Monna Valley makes plenty of appeal at 13/2

Monna Valley is back down to his last winning mark and makes plenty of appeal at 13/2 in the 2.50 at Wolverhampton today.

Stuart Williams’ charge was last successful at Lingfield when comfortably beating Powered Up by 1 3/4 lengths off a rating of 57.

He went on to finish a solid 1 1/2 lengtb second of 14 to Synodic at Chelmsford back in December off 60, and the winner – to whom he was conceding 4lb – has won three times since with the last of those victories coming off a mark of 70.

The selection also ran well when a 1 length fourth over 1m 4f at this venue off the same rating and shaped better than the bare result suggests last time out over course and distance when seventh fo 12 to Lucient Dream.

He has since been dropped another 2lb to 57 and that makes him look well-treated on the pick of his form in what looks a weak class 6 contest for the grade.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Monna Valley (13/2 BetVictor, Sky Bet – BOG)
