More Beau has posted some solid efforts at Newcastle and looks worth siding with at 13/2 in the 5.20 there today.
Dandy Nicholls’ charge ran well to be beaten just 1/2 a length in a competitive 13-runner affair over course and distance back in June off a mark of 66 and was beatbe just two lengths into third at the track four starts back off his current makr of 68.
The five-year=old also ran well to be fourth on the turf at Leicester on his penultimate outing before getting badly hampered and eased before finisning 11th over course and distance last time out.
More Beau was heavily backed in the latter but can be excsued the run given how the race panned out.
Connections clearly believe hs is on a workable mark and if the fitting of the cheekpieces have the desired effect a big runs looks on th cards.
