Newly crowned British Cruiserweight Champ Shane “Mr Block” McPhilbin is to defend his title on Friday 23rd March against former WBO World Cruiserweight Champ Enzo Maccarinelli at a still to be named venue.
McPhilbin who stunned the York Hall crowd last month when he stopped former British Cruiserweight champ Leon Williams with a 12th round KO will make his first defence of the belt against the toughest opponent he’s faced to date.
Maccarinell who has just comeback as a Light-Heavy will be looking to end McPhilbin’s reign on his way up the rankings to a World title shot. While McPhilbin has everything to prove and can make a name for himself if he can beat Maccarinelli on the night.
