Storm Rock has slipped to a dangerous mark and with underfoot conditons in his favour looks worth an each-way wager at 12/1 in the 5.20 at Haydock today.

Harry Dunlop’s charge was last successful 12 months ago in the mud at Salibsury when landing a class 2 contest by 1 3/4 lengths off a rating of 87.

He backed that up with a solid fifth of 14 to What About Carlo in a similar grade affair at Newbury off 92.

Storm Rock is now able to race off a career-low rating of 82 in this class 3 contest having been placed of 102 in the past.

It makes him a huge player at the weights on the pick of his form and all three of his career wins have come on soft ground.

He is going to get that today and abnother plus is that he gets the services in the saddle of Harry Bent;ley who steered him to his last victory.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Storm Rock (12/1 BetVictor, Boylesports, Coral, Ladbrokes – BOG)
