Mydor makes plenty of appeal at 8s

Mydor is back down to a potentially handy mark and looks worth a wager at 8/1 in the 3.40 at Leopatrdstown today.

Tony Amrtin’s charge was last successful over course and distance back in January 2015 when winning a 17-runner handicap by 1 length off a mark of 112.

He went on to be placed in competitive contests at Kempton and Fairyhouse off 130 and also ran well at the latter last March wehn third of 19 to Just Cuase off 129.

The seven-year-old is now able to race off 128 and that gives him a big shout at the weights on the pick of his from.

His shrewde connections are also now fitting him with the tongue-tie for the first time and Davy Russell looks the ideal partner for Mydor who likes to be develivered late on the scene.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Mydor (8/1 BetVictor, Paddy Power – BOG)
