NFL Preview: Giants value to slay Falcons

Atlanta Falcons at New York Giants

It’s wildcard week and Atlanta Falcons and the New York Giants look to face the dubious honour of travelling to Lambeau Field and taking on the Champs and current Ante Post Favourites the Green Bay Packers.

Atlanta have had their troubles on the road this season (4-4) and to me look up against it against the improving Giants who look like they are coming to hand at the right time.

The Giants were successful in 2007 when they found themselves in a similar position going into the post season and shocking the Patriots in the final. In recent weeks Eli Manning and emerging star Victor Cruz have really put the opposition to the sword and along with the formidable running back Brandon Jacobs the Giants are beginning to have look of an all round team and perhaps (yes I was wrong !) they could actually be Superbowl contenders.

Back in early December they were mugged on the line against the Green Bay Packers and feel the Giants have improved leaps and bounds whereas the Packers could be vunerable to a slugfest, I know it’s not an easy task to win at Lambeau Field but then again I don’t believe the Giants should 25/1 shots to win the Superbowl outright.

Daily Sport recommended bets:

1pt each-way and 1pt win New York Giants to win the Sperbowl – 25/1 general

5pts win New York Giants to beat the Atlanta Falcons -3.00 – 10/11 General
