The Cincinnati Bengals look this week’s banker on what promises to be an action packed night of cracking action.
Cincinnati Bengals at the Seattle Seahawks
The Bengals are coming off a bye week and are looking for a 4th straight win when they face Seattle Seahawks tonight.
The Seahawks are looking to bounce back from a dismal offensive performance last week when they couldn’t put together anything more than a solitary field goal against the Cleveland Browns and will surely be offering more offensively this week.
The Bengals have surprised many (me included) with their 4-2 performance this season and the Dalton/Green combination are really behind this upsurge in this franchises fortunes and are bang in the running for the AFC north title, whereas the Seahawks (2-4) look bereft of confidence as young QB Charlie Whitehurst only completed less than 50% of passes and the Seahawks only managed a piss poor 137 yards for the whole game.
The Bengals look the best bet this week on an action packed card, take them to prevail on the handicap -3.5
Washington Redskins at the Buffalo Bills
Buffalo look to break there Toronto duck where they haven’t managed to manage a win in three games since they signed a $78 million deal to play one game a year over 5 years.
Giving up home advantage is a big thing in NFL as a noisy crowd can make life difficult for a Quarterback looking to relay his orders to his offensive team. The Bills (4-2) lie 2nd in the AFC east behind the formidable Patriots and go into the Toronto game for the first time with a winning record.
The Bills have a few injuries with the excellent Donald Driver out along with Demetrius Bell and Shawne Meriman but the Redskins appear to be suffering even worse with legendary rusher Tim Hightower out for the year and leading WR Santana Moss out for a few weeks with a broken bone.
However their 4th ranked rushing offence(141 yards per game) face a skins defence that has been giving away offence yards like confetti and running back Fred Jackson will be looking to add to his impressive stats.
Redskins are more battered and bruised in my opinion than the Buffalo Bills and that is why I’m going to be making them the 2nd selection on the handicap
