Not So Sleepy makes plenty of each-way appeal at 8/1 in the 3.45 at Epsom today.
Hughie Morrison’s six-year-old landed the 2015 running of the Listed Dee Stakes at Chester and belatedly got his head back in front in this contet last year when gamely bearing Innocent Touch by a neck off a mark of 98.
Not So Sleepy is able to race in this off the same rating and comes into the contest on the back of a solid third at Chester.
Having raced keenly in the earlt stages he stayed on nicely to be beaten three lengths by Restorer.
That was his second start of the campaign and should have put him spot on for this.
Adam Kirby, who partnered him in thsi 12 months ago, is also now back in the saddle and Not So Sleepy has proven form on the ground.
With the stable also in decent nick, he looks sure to make a bold bid to retain his crown.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Not So Sleepy (8/1 bet365 – BOG, 1/4 odds 1,2 3)
