O’Kane going for Celtic title glory on home soil

Local Middleweight Eamonn O’Kane gets his first pro title shot on September 22, taking on Craig Windsor Jr. for the Celtic middleweight title on the Betfair ‘Judgement Day’ bill at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast live headlined by Carl Frampton v Stve Molitor live on Sky Sports.

Betfair Prizefighter All-Irish Middleweights champion O’Kane moved his unbeaten record to 7-0 after claiming the 24th edition of Matchroom Sport’s eight man, one night tournaments at the King’s Hall in Belfast on May 5 and the 30 year old is gunning for more honours in the capital.

Scotsman Windsor Jr. is also aiming to win his first pro honours, but at the third attempt for the 29 year old having fought for the International Masters and British Masters titles last year.
