Our Man In Havana is back down below his last winning mark and looks decent value at 9/1 to take advantage and land the spoils in the 5.30 at Kempton today. Although not ay his best last time out at Wolverhampton he had previously caught the eye at that venue when a 3/4 length 10th of 12 to Santafiora off a mark of 66 after constantly denied a clear run and not knocked about as a result. He is now able to race off 61, 2lb lower then when last successful at Wolverhampton back in November when coming from off the pace to beat Red Stripes by 1/2 a length. It gives Our Man In Havana every chance from a handicapping perspective in this class 6 affair at a venue where he has been placed twice in two starts over course and distance in class 4 contests off 78. Cieren Fallon also takes off a handy 7lb with his claim and Our Man In Havana is two from four in the grade. His hold-up style does mean that the gaps will need to appear at the right time, but if they do then he looks weighted to get back to winning ways.
