Our Man In Havana value at 14/1

Our Man In Havana caught the eye last time out and looks decent each-way value at 14/1 in the 6.15 at Wolverhampton today.
That run me over course and distance when a 3/4 length 10th of 12 to Santafiora where constantly denied a clear run and not knocked abotu as a result.
He now meets the winner on 5lb better terms and having been eased a pound to a makr of 63 is just 1lb higher than when last successful over 5f here back in November whne coming from off the loace to beat Red Strips by 1/2 a length.
It gives Our Man In Havana every chance from a handicapping perspective at a venue where he has won three times and been placed twice in 16 starts.
Joshua Bryan, who has ridden him once before when finishing in the frame, also takes off a handy 5lb with his claim.
So given how the race panned out last time I don’t think that he should be available to back at almost three times the odds of Santafiora.
His hold-up style does mean that the gaps will need to appear at the right time, but if they do then he looks capable of running a huge race in a contest in which some bookmakers are paying four places.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Our Man In Havana (14/1 Boylesports, Paddy Power, Sky Bet – BOG paying 4 places)
