Pivotman worth a punt at 8s

Pivotman has dropped to a handy mark and looks worth siding with at 8/1 in the 7.45 at Carlisle this evening following an eye-cathing run last time out.

Mick Easterby’s was last successful in an amateur riders contest at Wolverhampton off a mark of 72 and went on to follow-up in a similar affair at Kempton off 78.

He also also ran well ar Wolves in August when a 1 length third off 80 and is now able to race off a reduced turf mark of just 66.

It gives him a big shout at the weights and he ran well at Wolverhampton seven days ago when strangely held-up off the pave and encountering trounle in-running bfeore keeping on to finish a 2 1/4 length fifth.

That effort suggested his time was near and if ridden more prominently Pivotman could prove hard to peg back under Joanna Mason who is 1-1 on him an was onboard when he was last victorious.

Daily Sport recommneded bet: 2pts win Pivotman (8/1 Betfred, Bevictor, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power – BOG)
