Pivotman has dropped to a handy mark and mkes plenty of appeal at 9/2 in the 5.15 at Carlisle today now eased in grade

Mick Easterby’s charge landed an amateur riders contestat Wolverhampton back in December 2014 off a mark of 72 and went on to follow-up in a similar affair at Kempton the following month off 78.

He also also ran well at Wolverhampton 13 months ago when a 1 length third off 80 and is now able to race off a reduced mark of just 63.

That is 15lb lower than when last successfol on the all-weather and 2lb below his lasst winning turf mark.

It give shim major cliams at the weights and he has often shaped better than the bare result on more than one ocacsion this season and ran well on reapearance when runner-up off 70 in a class 5 contet at Pintefract off 7lb higher.

His last six runs have also been in class 4 contests and he now drops down into a class company.
