Premier League Preview – Blackburn v Arsenal

12.45pm KO, Live on Sky

Blackburn gained their first point of the new campaign at Craven Cottage last week with a battling 1-1 draw. Arsenal also polled their first three pointer with a victory at home to Swansea and they followed up with a fine draw against the odds in Germany on Tuesday.

The last time these two sides met it finished all square at the Emirates but Arsenal have won three of the last four Ewood encounters, although they haven’t managed a road victory in the Premier league for their last five outings.

This game looks to focus around who is fit for either side. Hoilett and Samba both went off injured on Sunday and it is vital to the chance of Kean’s side that they are fit this week and the good news from the treatment room is that they are both likely to start. Dunn will be a major loss if he fails to make it.

Arsenal almost have a team full of injuries with Squillaci, Diaby, Wilshire, Vermaelen all out and there are doubts about Ramsey and Rosicky and whilst they might return Arsenal look far to short at odds on.
