Red Devils jump in to launch Warwick’s jump season

The world-famous Red Devils parachute display team will be dropping into the first jump race of the winter season at Warwick Racecourse on Wednesday, November 6.

However, they’ll feel right at home because the event has a distinctive armed forces feel about it as Warwick Racecourse will be celebrating their first Armed Forces race day, just days before Remembrance Day when thoughts turn to those killed or injured in the line of duty.

And while all eyes will be fixed on the fantastic race action for most of the time, they’ll also be looking skywards to watch the exploits of the Red Devils as they parachute down into the centre of the course at approximately 12 noon.

Huw Williams, general manager, Warwick Racecourse, said: “It’s fantastic to see the return of the jump season and Warwick is marking it in style with our special Armed Forces day.

“While the jump action is exciting enough, the display by the Red Devils.is sure to be a great spectacle and something not to be missed.”

Gates open at Warwick Racecourse on 6th November at 10.50am, with the first race off at 12.50pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting www.warwickracecourse.co.uk or on the day.
