Reunis all set to score again

Amis Reunis did us a favour when landing a gamble last time out and is strongly fancied at 3/1 to follow up in the 4.35 at Lingfield today.

Tony Carson’s filly was backed in from the advised 11/2 into 9/4 favourite when scoring in good style over course and distance 10 days ago.

Held up off the pace by Robert Tart, she showed a good turn of foot to shoot up the inside when a gap appeared and quickly put the race to bed to score by a length from Cuthbert.

To me she was value for more than the winning margin and a 2lb rise to a mark of 60 looks very lenient.

She is now on the same rating as when registering her previous success at Nottingham last August and has some solid efforts to her name off higher marks.

Indeed, she was twice a winner over 5f as a juvenile when trained by Richard Hannon, and started life off in handicaps with a decent fourth of 13 to Bayleyf at Goodwood off a mark of 77 and was then far from disgraced off 80 when finishing 8th of 13 to the useful Elusive Flame at Doncaster.

That suggest that she is worth keeping on the right side in this grade now that she has got her head back in front, and another plus is that she has the services of another very promising young rider today in the shape of Ryan Tate.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Amis Reunis (3/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
