He was also far from disgraced last time out, again over course and distance, when a keeping on 3 1/2 length seventh of 13 to Dandy Highwayman off 80.
That run suggested he remains in form and Roaring Rory is able to race in this similar grade class 6 affair off an unchanged mark
It is just 1lb higher than when last victorious and his previous success had come at Southwell off 64, so he remains on a handy mark.
Roaring Rory also has decent strikes rates of 20 per cent in class 6 company and 23 per cent on the Tapeta surface.
Ben Robinson, who does well for the yard, also now partners him for the first time and takes off a handy 3lb with his claim.
