Royal Ascot: Master Singer makes plenty of appeal in King George V Stakes

Master Singer has a progressive profile and makes plenty of appeal on handicpa debut in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot (5.35).

John Gosden’s colt shaped with plnety promise on his sole start as a juvenile when fourth of 17 to Crowned Eagle at Nottingham in a race which hass thrown up a host of subsequent winners.

He then caught the eye in when a keeping on third to stable companion Face The Facts at Newbury on seasonal reapperance before bolting up by 16 lenbgths last time out in a maiden at Newcastle.

Although what Master Singer beat is questionable the manner of the victory was very impressive and an opening handicap mark of 96 may well underestimate his ability as to me he looks a potential pattern race performer in the making.

With blinkers now fitted for the first time, and the prospect of even better to come, he looks a big each-way player in a typically wide-open renewal of this contest.
