September appeals at 6s in Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf

September looks decent value at 6/1 in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Del Mar tonight (21.25).

Aidan O’Brien’s youngster could not have been more impressive on debut when landing an 11-runner contest at Leopardstown by 5 1/2 length sand then took the step up into Listed company in her stride when landing the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot in scintillating fashion.

After being held-up off the pace September made smooth headway two from home and when asked to put the race to bed entering the final furlong quickened instantly to beat Nyaleti by 2 1/4 lengths.

Although beaten on her next two starts at the Curragh when fourth and third behind stable companions Magical and Happily she was far from disgarced on soft ground which was totally against her.

September also looked an unlucky loser last time out when denied a clear run at a votal stage before being beaten just a short-head by Laurens in the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket.

The return to a quicker surface is a huge plus anmd on the pick of her form she looks a huge player in this.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way September (6/1 bet365- BOG, 1/4 odds 1,2,3)
