Alex Hales’ 10-year-old has won three times and been placed three from seven starts at the track.
The last of those successes came over today’s 2m 7f trip back in January in a class 4 affair where he showed a good attitude to dig deep and beat Abbeygrey by 3/4 of a length off a mark of 110.
He is now able to race off the same rating and comes into the contest on the back of two solid efforts, finishing third over Cd befire being beat just 1/2 a lenth at Hereford.
It gives him every chnace from a handicapping perspective and Hutchinson is 1-1 on him and now back in the plate for the first time since guiding him to his last success.
