hort Work has become well-treated and looks worth a wager at 13/2 in the 4.15 at Catterick following an improved effort last time out.

The four-year-old opened his account at Salisbury last May when trained by Ralph Beckett and beating Dark Shot by a neck off a mark of 79.

He went on to finish an excellent second of 14 at Epsom off a mark off the same rating and is now able to race in this class 5 affair of 68.

That is a career-low and although Short Work hiunted that his time was near at carlisle last month when keeping on to finish a 2 length third of 10 to Mr Orange off 1lb higher.

If building on that he is weightedf to take all the bearing on the pick of his form, especially if taking into account the 3lb claim of Josh Doyle.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Short Work (13/2 Ladbrokes – BOG)
