The front-running Sorella Bella is on a fair mark for her handicap debut in the 3.15 at Chester and looks cracking value at 11/1.
Mick channon’s filly was a useful juvenile last season, finishing runner-up to Music Chart in a decent maiden at Newmarket and third to Steeler in a listed event at Goodwood before opening her account in good style at Carlisle.
She was then campaigned in Italy, and easily won on her first start in a milel isted event at San Siro where she made all to score by 3 1/2 lengths.
The daughter of Clodovil then got collared close home after attempting to lead from pillar to post in a Group 3 contest at the same track, where she got beat just a neck by Punta Stella.
It’s fair to day that she was then not seen at her best on her reappearance in the Group 3 Nell Gwyn at Newmarket last month where she finished 9th of 14 to Hot Snap, but she is entitled to come on for that effort and now takes a drop in class into handicap company of what looks a fair mark of 104 judged on the pick of her form.
The sharp track will also suit her run style, and she is drawn to attack from the off in stall 2.
If she is allowed her own way up front she could prove extremely difficult to peg back, and at the odds on offer looks way overpriced.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts each-way Sorella Bella (11/1 bet365, Paddy Power – BOG)
