Honeysuckle Lil is back down below her last winning mark and with underfoot conditions to suit looks worth a punt at 9/2 in the Hamtilon today.

Tim Easterby’s mare is a dual winner on testing ground and her last success came over course and distance on heavy going last Seprember where she scored by 1 1/4 lengths in a class 3 contest off a mark of 75.

She is now able to race in this class 4 affair off 2lb lower and comes into the contest on the back of three solid efforts.

They include a decent fifth of 11 to Southern Belle last time out in a class 3 at Ripon where she made headway to challenge at the furlong makrer befotre weakening late on to be beaten 3 3/4 lengths on good ground.

The return to an easier surface is sure to suit and Honeysuckle Lil is 1-1 at the venue and has the services of Rachel Richardson who takes off another 3lb with her claim.

Taking it into account she is 5lb below her last winning mark and everything looks in place for her to get back on the scoresheet.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Honeysuckle Lil (9/2 BetVictor, Coral, Ladbrokes – BOG)
