Tadalavil has slipped to a career-low mark and rates a solid bet at 3/1 to land the 4.05 at Ayr for the second year running.
Linda Perratt’s 10-year-old has not scorer since landing this contest 12 months ago by a short-head off a mark of 50.
However, the veteran has run some solid races to be placed off marks as high as 55 and is now able to race off just 45.
That is 5lb lower than when last successful and the lowest rating Tadalavil has ever raced off.
It gives him outstanding claims at the weights and Tadalavil comes into the contest having bounced back to form and posted a cracking effort last time out over course and distance seven days ago when a 3/4 length runner-up to Goninodaethat off 1lb higher.
That run showed his time was near, and with regular rider Samantha Bell in the saddle taking another 5lb off his back Tadalavil is going to be hard to beat if building on that effort.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Tadalavil (3/1 bet365, BetVictor – BOG)
