Tenerezza makes her eagerly awaited handicap debut in the 4.20 at Wolverhampton today and is of major interest at 2/1.

David Lanigan’s filly has shaped with promise in three maiden runs and caught the eye in the last of thsoe at Newmarket when staying on nicely under tender handling to finish a never nearer seventh of 15 to Dazzling Rose.

The winner looks a useful sort and the second has come out and won since and the selection has been allotted a lowly opening mark of just 65.

That looks potentially on the lenient side in what is a very weak class 6 handicap full of exposed and limited types and Tenerezza also now gets the services in the saddle of George Baker for the first time.

She also remain open to any amount of improvement and looks to have been brought along solely with handicaps in mind and hails from a yard that has saddled three winners from it’s last six runners.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 5pts win Tenerezza (2/1 bet365, Coral – BOG)
