Bolton are on the crest of a slump that is turning into a fully fledged depression. They have lost 11 of their last 12 Premier league games and whilst they have faced some stiff opposition the run also includes a home defeat against Norwich. The worrying thing is the number of goals conceded, 21 on six games. The only real piece of form is a win at Villa Park but that was in the Carling Cup.
This afternoon they have a local derby away to a Wigan side who have lost their last four, but they were against Villa, Everton, Spurs and City. Not a game to get too involved in but given neither side has won for a while perhaps the draw at a general 9/4 is the call
