Tonight’s Premier League game sees West Brom play host to Everton (8pm KO, Live on Sky Sports 1) , and the visitors look a solid bet at the 11/10 generally on offer to emerge victorioes.
The Toffees have won four and lost just one of the last six meetings with West Brom in all competitions, and have been a revelation this season under Roberto Martinez.
They have already collected 17 away points, and in the last six weeks they’ve won at Man United, drawn at Arsenal, beaten Swansea and earned a late point at Stoke in their latest game.
Martinez has made them an extremely tough side to beat, and that is reflected in the fact that they have one of the best defensive records in the league.
They have only conceded six goals in their 10 games, and face a side who are struggling to find the back of the net.
Everything suggests that Everton will prove far too strong, and given the aformentioned records backing them to win to nil at 14/5 with Stan James also makes plenty of appeal.
After 10 goals in his first 10 games for Everton, Lukaku has managed just one in his last eight.
However he is too good a player to keep down, and at 11/2 with Ladbrokes in the first goalscorer market will do for me.
