Terntheothercheek looks a bit of value at 7/1 in a very weak looking 3.10 at Uttoxeter today now upped in trip.

Jenny Candlish’s charge didn’t show much in two bumper runs and is xyet to trouble the judge in 8 starts over hurdles.

However she has not run too badly on her last three starts, catching the eye on the first occasion when keeping on to finish 7th of 12 to Moderon over 2m 5f at Towcester and then arguably putting up her best performance so far last time out when sixth of 10 to Kayfrou over 2m 1f at Bangor.

The four-year-old raced with far more zest in the latter, chasing the leader until being unable to quicken two from home and weakening to be beaten 6 lengths.

It was an effort which suggested she may well be seen to better effect given a greater stamina test and connections are now upping her to 3m for the first time.

I think it is a shrewd move which may well see her to much better effect, and having started life off in handicaps on a mark of 85 she now gets into this class 5 contest which severely lacks any strength in depth off just 71.

Off bottom weight, with Conor Ring taking another 7lb off her back, she also receives lumps of weight fromn the two market leaders and in testing conditions can make that tell to finally open her account.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Terntheothercheek (7/1 Betfred, BetVictor – BOG)
