Manchester United look worth a wager at a top priced 21/20 with BetVictor to beat arch rivals Liverpool in their game at Old Trafford today (5.30pm KO, Live on Sky Sports 1).
United have won five of their last seven Premier League meetings with Liverpool, and the vistors have won just one of their last seven away games in the top flight (D3, L3).
The Red Devils have arguably also had the better start to the seasson, despite failing to really get into top gear and Liverpool come into the game after a woeful disaply in getting thashed 3-0 at home by West Ham.
I also think that United will be up for this, and although they are likely to be without Wayne Roonet through injury they have plenty of firepower to fall back on.
It will be intesreting to see if Louis Van Gaal decides to play David De Gea after he signed a new four year deal with the club in the week, and if he does then the hostile atmosphere at the ground is likely to be raised to another level as the home fans will want to see him in action.
LVG also has the option of playing new signing Anthoiny Martial, but it is Juan Mata that appeals from a punting perspective in the goalscorer markets.
The Spaniard netted netted three goals in his two PL games against Liverpool last season, and that makes him look worth a wager at 33/10 with 888sport to net anytime.
I also wouldn’t put anyone off backing him at 8/1 with Paddy Power to net the opener.
