Manchester United have a good home record against Leicester and look worth a wager at a top priced 3/4 with Stan James to further enhance it with victory over the Foxes in today’s early kick-off at Old Trafford (12.30pm, Live on Sky Sports 1).
The Red Devils are unbeaten in seven home Premier League games against Leicester (W5, D2), and have concded just four goals in that time.
They have also scored in each of their last 14 Premier League games against Leicester, netting 33 goals in total.
Jose Mourinhoo’s men have not made the start to the new season that was expected, but bounced back from three defeats in all competotions to easily beat Northampton 3-1 in the League Cup in midweek.
There is no doubt that new gaffer has problems to sort out, most notably Wayne Roonet who is looking a shadow of his former self.
Rooney has lost pace, seems positionless, and his passing againt Watford in their last Premier League game was woeful.
Many are arguing that he should no longer be in the side, and I could not argue with that.
Carrick and Pogba look the ideal partnership in midfield and it will be interesting to see if Mourinho can be as ruthless as he has been in the past and axes Rooney from the starting XI.
Either way I am expecting a much improved showing from United againt the Foxes and in Rashord and Ibrahimovic they have two strikers who can really punish them.
The former appeals in the first goalscorer market at 6/1 with Paddy Power.
