Buck Mulligan is back down to his last winning mark amd is strongly fancied at 6/1 to take advantage and land the 4.10 at Uttoxeter today now dropped in grade.

The gelding last scored at Sedgfield last November where he stayed on gamely to beat No Planning by a neck in a class 3 contest off a mark of 127.

Since then he has put in a number off solid efforts to finish in the frame, including when second of 13 to Problematic in the class 2 Perth Gold Cup off a mark of 132 in June.

Evan Williams’ charge hasn’t been at his best in three subsequent starts, but two of those runs have come in class 1 listed contests and his mark has fallen as a result.

He is now back down to 127 and is now also dropped significantly in grade to class 3 company – the same as when last successful.

That gives him major claims of bouncing back to form and with conditions to suit  everything looks in place for a massive run.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Buck Mulligan (6/1 bet365 – BOG)
