Well-treated Bush Beauty worth a bet at 14s

Bush Beauty has been given a chance by the handicapper and looks worth an each-way wager at 14/1 in the 3.00 at Wolverhampton today.

Eric Alston’s mare is a four-time course winner, with the last of those successes coming 12 months ago off a mark of 61.

She has since gone on to land a handicap a Chester back in June by 7 lengths and ran well four starts back at Haydock when third off 70.

Bush Beauty also shaped far better than the bare result suggests next time up over course and distance when a 6 1/2 length sixth of 12 to Brick Lane, getting squeezed and short of room at the start before staying on from miles off the pace to be nearest at the finish off 66.

The five-year-old also didn’t shape yoo badly on her penultimate outing over CD before finding the 1m trip beyond her at the track last time out.

The drop back to 7f is sure to suit and Bush Beauty is now able to race off a career-low mark of just 59.

She also goes well for Sophie Killoran who has won on her three times and takes off another 5lb with her claim.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Bush Beauty (14/1 bet365, BetVictor – BOG)
