Tweedo Paradiso is dangerously well-treated on the pick of his form now switched back to hurdles in the 5.30 at Hexham today and looks decent value at 10/1 to take advantage and score an overdue success.

Rose Dobbin’s gelidng has just one win to his name and that came in a handicap hurdle at Cartmel back in October 2013 where he scored by a neck off a mark of 89.

He went on to finish a solid fourth off 93 next time up, and also ran well last year to finish fourth at Newcastle off 89 in March.

The eight-year-old then had his attentions switched to the larger obstacles at the beginning of last season and apart from one run when third has been disappointing.

However, he is now able to race in this off just 78 nin what is a weak race.

That is 11lb lower than when scoring at Cartmel and a career-low for Tweedo Paradiso.

It give shim major claims at the weights if the return hurdling can spark him back to life – especially with the highly talented Craig Nichol in the saddle taking another 3lb off his back.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Tweedo Paradiso (10/1 Paddy Power – BOG)
