Wahaab has slipped to a dangerous mark and looks worth siding with at 17/2 in the 7.40 at Kempton this evening.
The gelding was a smart juvenile when trained by Richard Hannon, winning on debut at Goodwood befiore finishing seventh of 15 to War Command in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes.
Things haveb’t gone to plan since, but having initially been rated 91 the four-year-old is now able to race off just 67.
That gives him a huge chance on the pick of his form in this class 5 affair, and he wasn’t disgraced two starts back over course and distance when sixth of 11 to Acolyte in a class 4 contest off 7lb higher.
Wahaab also now has his first start for Richard Hughes after leaving Ken Cunningham-Brown, and if the move has freshend him up he looks weighted to take all the beating in the hands of Shane Kelly
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Wahaab (17/2 bet365 – BOG)
