Well-weighted Know Your Name worth a wager at 12s

Know Your Name races off a career-low mark in the 5.10 at Carlisle today and looks worth siding with at 12/1.

The gelding was last successful at Wolvrehampton back in November when scoring by a neck off a mark of 65.

He went on to be placed off 67 at the saem venue and has also posted a number of solid efforts this season to make the frame.

Having started the campaign off on a mark of 69, the four-year-old is now able to race off just 62 – 2lb lower than when last successful.

It gives him every chance from a handicapping perspective on his first start for trainer Eric Alston, and the switch of stables may well do him good.

In what doesn’t look the strongest of class 5 affairs Know Your Name looks a tad overpriced at 12/1 and well worth an each-way wager in a race which should be run to suit.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Know Your Name (12/1 Sky Bet – BOG)
