White Arm is unbodutedly on a handy mark at presenet and looks worth a wager at 4/1 in the 2.15 at Down Royal today now reunited with Mark Walsh.
Tony Martin’s charge won a handicap chase at Navan 12 months ago when stayong on strongly to score by 4 1/2 lengths off a mark of 100 under Walsh.
He was sent off the 11/8 favourite to follow=up at Naas off a revosed rating of 109 and put in a decent effort to finish third.
White Arm has since has just four subsequent outings and has shaped far better than the bare result in the last three of those this season.
He faced an impossible task from the postion last time out when third at Fairyhouse under Robboe Power and has since been dropped 1lb to 106.
That should enable him to ge very competitive in this, and prior to last time out he had been partnered by claimers.
He now gets the services of Walsh again for the first time since they teamed up to score at Navan and with the stable going well this looks a nice opportunity for White Arm to return to winning ways.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win White Arm (4/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
