Wild Hacked worth a wager at 16s

Wild Hacked has shaped better than the bare result in his last two starts and makes plenty of appeal at 16/1 in the 4.45 at Newmarket today.

Marco Botti’s colt won a maiden at Windsor on return to action in good style and has since caught the eye in two runs in handicap company.

After a fine fifth of 13 to Garcia in the valuable Silver Bowl at Haydock when making late headway afrter a slow, Wild Hacked travelled powerfully and looked all over the winner a furolng out before being beaten just 1 3/4 lengths into third behind Threat Assessed at Sandown.

Those efforts suggest he could be ahead of his mark, and the step up to 1m 2f may well bring about further improvement.

He also has the services of Daniel Muscutt in the saddle who takes off a useful 3lb with his claim, and off bottom weight looks well worth an each-way wager at the odds on offer.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Wild Hacked (16/1 Sky Bet – BOG)
