Tonight is the night when hard hitting heavyweight propect Deontay Wilder comes of age as a pro when he takes on WBC world heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne at the world famous MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Wilder who is 32 and 0 as a pro and never gone past 4 rounds is now looking to put his stamp on the world scene by stopping current WBC champ Bermane Stiverne 24-1-1, 21 KO’s and setting up a MASSIVE MONEY pay day with Wladimir Klitschko which if Wilder impresses audiences tonight with another quick KO will be a per per view fight for US TV networks to fight over.
At yesterday’s weigh in Wilder scaled 219lbs while the shorter Stiverne sacled 239lbs.
Wilder told DAILY SPORT Boxing “You are all in for a treat. I’ve never been so ready to whoop a man. There’s been a lot of talk, a lot of stuff on social media. But through all that, it’s been real. I don’t play games. It doesn’t get any realer than this. We risk our lives every time in that ring.
DAILY SPORT says – From what we’ve seen of Wilder this fight won’t go past 4 rounds.
