Well the top of the bill on Mickey Helliet and Mo Prior’s London Live televised bill at the Camden Centre saw Helliet promoted Darryll Williams put on an explosive performance to stop Prior promoted Richard Horton in just 2.43 of the 1st round to take Horton’s Southern Area super-middleweight title.
With Horton rocked from a barrage of punches from Williams ref Robert Williams stepped in to give Horton a standing 8 and then under more pressure waved the bout off. Great win by the Forest Hill banger [Williams] who is now 12-0 as a pro with 5 stoppage wins.
Elliott Matthews stopped Ferenc Hafner inside 3 rounds of their scheduled 8 to take his tally to 15-0-1, 9 KO’s. Matthews had the Hungarian down 5 times in the bout before ref Kieran McCann had seen enough and waved it off at 2.04 of the 3rd.
