Wolfcatcher has dropped to a career-low mark and looks worth a punt at 5/12 in the 4.00 at Chepstow today.
The five-year-old had some useful form earlier in his career when trained in France by Andre Fabre.
He also posted a really solid effort last season for Charlie Appleby when a 2 3/4 lengths fourth to Desert Encounter at Newmarket off a rating of 94.
Wolfcatcher was attempting to give the now 114-rated winner 5lb and that form reads well in the context of this contest.
Now in the care of Ian Williams, he is able to race in it off a mark of just 84 and that makes him dangerously well-treated.
Wolfcatcher will also find this easier than the three races he has contested of late at Ascot and gets fitted with blinkers for the first time.
The booking of Fran Berry to do the steering is another plus.
