Zayfire Aramis has posted some solid efforts of late and looks worth a punt at 9/1 in the 2.50 at Leicester today.
Michael Scudanore’s nine-year-old ran really well on his penultimate outing when a 1 1/2 length third of 9 to Jarlath off a mark of 101.
He rallied and stuck to teh task well and the winner has since finished a solid second off 4lb higher.
No Ceiling, who finished a length behind the selection in fourth, and Best Work who finsihed a further length behind in fifth, have also both won since.
That gives the form a solid look in relation to this contest and Zayfire Aramis is able to race in it off just 2lb h9gher.
His current rating of 103 is just 5lb higher than when last scoring by 10 lengths and should not be beyond him.
Zayfire Aramis was also in the process of running a good race last ime out when in second place and unseating three from hoke at Warwick.
He also now gets the services of Tom Scudamore in the saddle and everything looks in place for a big run in a class 4 contest lacking any real strength in depth.
