Scatty Cat has been given a massive chance by the handicapper and looks worth siding with at 11/1 in the 2.15 at Wolverhampton today on her first start for Mark Loughnane.

The filly was formerly trained in Ireland by Peter McCreery, and after getting off the mark in a maiden at Chepstow went on to land a minor contest at Cork off an official rating of 79 in October 2012.

The daughter of One Cool Cat has failed ot get her head in friont since, but has run several solid races to finish in the frame.

They include a third in a Navan handicap off 80, and she also wasn’t disgraced three starts back when a 6 1/2 lengths 15th of 24 to Hazelrigg in a class 4 contest at Ayr off 74 from a poor draw.

Scatty Cat now gets into this class 6 off a career-low mark of just 63, and having once been rated as high as 83 is dangerously well-treated on the pick of her form.

Her new handler also knows how to ready one to land a touch and works his horses at the track, and with Shane Kelly in the saddle she is simply too well-treated to ignore in this line up.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Scatty Cat (11/1 Sky Bet – BOG)
