Rising Rapping star Jethro ‘Alonestar’ Sheeran is going to be supporting the flagship football Charity Event Soccer Six which takes place on the 18th and 26th May.
This year the chosen charity will be the Lovesport Group. The Lovefootball Family, is project which will strategically directs funds generated via the Lovesport Group’s high profile portfolio of events into charities associated with cardiac problems (Hearts and Goals) and specially those problems in sport.
When asked why Jethro wanted to support this event he responded by saying:
“I’ve chosen to support the tournament because I truly believe in giving back to the community and this particular charity is close to my heart, both of my parents work in the medical field and I hope I can help in raising funds and awareness which the Lovesport group needs. Its such an honour and I’m very happy a lot of my fans will be cheering me on the pitch as #TEAMSHEERAN and will have the chance to meet me in the VIP area and see me perform with some other fantastic people taking part on the day.”
Jethro Sheeran, a.k.a Alonestar, is a rising star, and in the past few years has seen won two Exposure Music Awards (Best Male Artist and Best Urban Song), and has signed a publishing deal with EMI. At the eye of this storm is his most recent release Warrior, a 6-track EP featuring collaborations with Ja Ja Soze, Rosie Ribbons, and his cousin Ed Sheeran.
Returning the complement, Ed recently incorporated a portion of Alonestar’s song ‘Shottas Paradise’ on his own single ‘You NeedMe, I Don’t Need You’, The cousins have also collaborated on “Real life” and “Raise em up”, which is featured on the trailer for Vertigo Films’ upcoming global release, “All Stars”.

Jethro, a huge boxing fan from boxing heritage will also be releasing a video soon with Joe Calzaghe, featuring his track ‘Undefeated’. The video will feature Jethro sparring Joe in a ring, but Jethro will be rapping at him as opposed top exchanging blows! Jethro will also be taking part in a Celebrity Bootcamp run by Enzo Calzaghe, and will be trained by top boxing coach Kevin Campion. Team Sauerland, a fan of Jethro’s and well acclaimed boxing promoters to some of teh biggest names in boxing have given Jethro a tracksuit to use during training, after they were taken back by his performance of Warrior in Denmark live in the ring.
