On the all-weather at Southwell I have an each way suggestion for us all when Palazzo Blue looks overpriced ahead of the 5.40pm for Marco Botti, who is having an excellent season.
The three-year-old arrives with a two out of two record on the all-weather which includes a course and distance win off 5lb lower in late April, and although beaten three times since, they have all been on the turf in better races than this and off higher marks than he faces today.
No good thing I accept, but as I write he is a 20/1 chance and in my view has a better chance than those odds imply.
