Eureka Lifestyle – a naturist night out

_MG_4193What better way to spend a Saturday in August than at a naturist club known for throwing very special parties? Well, that’s just what we did last week. Deep in the Kent countryside, you’ll find the naturist hotspot Eureka, a Mecca for all who are open minded, liberated and looking for something a little more risque than the usual nightclubs. _MG_3953

As we approached the wonderland style tunnel of trees it almost feels magical with the sunlight twinkling through the leaves, like you are entering a naturist Narnia. Walking up to reception I could see people relaxing outside on the wooden decking in little more than towels and once inside some didn’t even have that. Now I’m no prude but it’s not every day that you turn your head and come eye to eye with a strangers crown jewels. This members only club is the perfect location for those who like to let everything hang free or want to explore a more inclusive lifestyle. The main room felt like any local club on a Saturday night when the lights went down and the strobes started bouncing off the black walls and mirrors, albeit one where the hostess serves you bowls of ice wearing a basque and suspenders. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, most people, being regulars, appeared to know each other, some of them very well. For the more adventurous types, there are special rooms which cater to their needs including a couple only room and a dungeon. In the not so privacy of these rooms the patrons can feel free to indulge in their innermost desires and let their fantasies play out. We, of course, could not have a look in these rooms during the party but we were given access once they were empty, the couples room was decadent and sumptuous complete with double beds whilst the more extreme dungeon was kitted out with all the accoutrements one would need to explore the more varied side of playtime. _MG_3962

Eureka has been on this site since the 60’s where freedom of love was at its heydey, the naturist element is still highly maintained, however, now some people come more for the playful side. I spoke with one long standing member who told me that for them it is more the social aspect, that they go there to see their friends and generally enjoy a night out in an atmosphere where there is no judgement. That is definitely a feeling I got from it, a very relaxed, non-judgemental atmosphere where people could have the freedom to be themselves and indulge in pastimes that may be frowned upon elsewhere. Eureka king pin Michael Davis bought the business in 2012 and although the business is worlds apart  from his previous life he says he enjoys the people “the people are uncomplicated and more honest than people I’ve come across in other businesses.” This I think shows that being free with your desires and opening yourself up can do wonders for you as an individual. _MG_4135

On site there is a heated 60ft outdoor swimming pool, two 8 person hot tubs, a steam room and a sauna which can accommodate 25 people, you could have some party in there! The 23 acres of beautifully lush grounds include woods that you can explore and scrumptiously green lawns to sunbathe on when the weather is glorious. During the day the spa like feel is paramount and it’s not until darkness falls that you begin to get a taste of the other side. There are different themed nights so all tastes are catered for, check out the calendar on their website to find your perfect event. The accommodating staff will make you feel welcome as will the other members and you can relax in the knowledge that no one will judge you on your appearance or sexual interests. And if travelling back to the homestead after a night of debauchery doesn’t appeal you can stay on site in one of the glamping huts which come complete with a double bed and flimsy sheer curtains.

The night we were there the delectable Daily Sport girl Sian Barbie Mcsween and her husband, Ibiza DJ Kenny, were also invited to visit. We couldn’t resist getting some shots of her enjoying the surroundings. _MG_3960

So if you ever feel like you would like the freedom of a naked spa or would be inclined to partake in something more adventurous, get yourselves down to Kent because Eureka is the place to go. As owner Michael says “people are encouraged to be who they want to be” in a safe and secure environment, “it’s people from all walks of life” who just want to let their hair down.
