Police in Merseyside have arrested Wayne Rooney’s dad Wayne snr and his uncle Richie plus 7 others over an alleaged football betting scam.
Arrests were carried out by police in Glasgow and Merseyside at a number of addresses in relation to a game between Hearts and Motherwell last December which Hearts won 2-1. One of the others arrested is a Scottish premier league player.
