10/1 Super Kid worth siding with at Chester

Super Kid hasn’t been at his best in his last two starts but is nicely treated on the pick of his form and looks worth an each-way punt at 10/1 in the 3.40 at Chester today now returned to the scene of his last success.

That victory came over course and distance in June where the Tim Easterny trained seven-year-old overcame trouble in-running and ran on strongly to get up close home and beat Marengo by 3/4 of a length off a mark of 75.

Prior to that the gelding gelding was last successful in a class 4 at at Wolverhampton in July of last year where he travelled well throughout and quickened clear at the furlong marker to score by 1 1/2 length off a mark of 83.

It was an authoritative display and he scored with tons more in hand than the winning margin suggests.

He went to on run well four starts later here when a solid second in a class 3 off 87.

Super Kid also finished a solid never nearer 1 1/4 length fourth of 11 to Charlie D at Wolverhampton when given a poor tactical ride in a slowly run race and far too much to do before flying home.

He backed that up with a staying on two length fourth to Envoy in a class 3 at Kempton having been slowly away and rounded off the campaign with two runs in class 2 company.

Super Kid is now able to race in this class 4 off 77, so having also been placed off 95 and 96 in the past it makes him a big player at the weights if bouncing back under Jason Hart who is 1-1 on him.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Super Kind (10/1 bet365, BetVictor – BOG)
