11/1 O’Gorman worth a wager at Windsor

O’Gorman shaped as if coming back to form last time out and makes plenty of appeal at 11/1 in the 5.40 at Windsor now stepped back up in trip.

Gary Brown’s charge is a consistent sort who snapped a long losing run when scoring over course and distance last June.

He was unruly at the start that day and not the best away, but travelled strongly off the pace and came with a well-timed run to beat Blue Jack with more in hand than the length winning margin suggests off a mark of 80.

The gelding went on to finish a decent third at Kempton two starts later off a mark of 85, and has gradually been working his way back to form this year.

He signalled that his time could be near over 5f at Lingfield on his penultimate start when finishing fourth of 10 to Picansort, where after being short of room leaving the stalls he ran on strongly to be beaten just over 2 lengths.

The son of Sleeping Indian then backed up that effort last time out over 5f at this venue when staying on to finish fourth of 10 to Breccbennach when not getting the clearest of runs.

The handicapper has since dropped him 1lb to a mark of 80 – the same as when last successful – and that gives him every chance at the weights now returned to 6f.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way O’Gorman (11/1 bet365 – BOG)
