9/1 Be Perfect worth a punt at Catterick

Be Perfect has plenty going for him in the 4.00 at Catterick today and looks worth a punt at 9/1.

Ruth Carr’s eight-year-old has won two of his three starts at the venue with the last of those successes coming off a mark of 78 when beating Dew Pond by 2 1/2 lengths.

He is now able to race off the same rating and comes into the contest having shaped better than the bare result suggests at Newcastle last month when going off too hard before finishing fourth.

That was his second run back from a break and he should nwo be spot on to do himself justice at a track which clearly suits.

Be Perfect also has a 23% strike rate in the grade, has won three times under Jaems Sullivan and hails from a yard that has an 18% strike rate at the venue in the past 12 months and saddled a couple of winners at the end of last month.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Be Perfect (9/1 bet365, BetVictor, Sky Bet – BOG)
